Youth – Impact Nation

Stones Church has a thriving Youth Ministry for teens!  We call the ministry “Impact Nation” because our teens are a group of individuals who have been impacted by God and mandated to go and make an impact.  Impact Nation exists to be the destination of choice for our youth, their peers, and any teenager that we can reach.  We aspire to connect our youth to each other and to Jesus in the most innovative, creative ways possible.  We also aspire to create a network of young people, impacted, and prepared to impact our nation’s youth.

We meet: Every Wednesday night – Kalamazoo Campus – 7 pm.

Children - Light Agents

At Stones Church we are raising up every child to be a “Light Agent.” Every child will encounter the presence and love of God in Children’s Ministry.  Our mission is to establish every child in the Word with a strong understanding of who they are in God and what it means to be a “Light Agent.”  Therefore, we equip every child with curriculum and special activities that are fun, practical, and easy to comprehend and apply to their daily lives. Our “Light Agents” engage in the world around them, carrying the Light of God and His Truth into the darkness. We have special activities and experiences for our children each month and an annual event for our children and the community at large.

If you have questions, please call 269.344-7135.

Our Children’s Ministry serves:
Nursery: Ages 6 weeks to 24 months old in small groups.
Preschool: Ages 3 & 4 year olds through stories, puppets etc.
Kindergarten: Age 5 through a variety of classroom media & group settings.
1st-6th Grade:  through exciting super services and classroom settings.

Prophetic Arts

We were ALL made in God’s image and carry His DNA in seed form to create, but we haven’t always understood that it’s our call to impact culture through the message that’s in us. The Arts have always had the power to capture the attention, imagination and heart of the people.  We are in the midst of a NEW RENAISSANCE and God is waking up the latent artist in all of us to BECOME our true essence! To connect with Heaven, create in His Presence (free from performance) and release transformation…reflecting the glory of God everywhere we go. Releasing supernatural healing and innovative ideas in the Market Place as well as in the Church. The Prophetic Arts Ministry is building a community of like-minded believers and calling all artists, writers, poets, musicians, and designers who desire to partner with Holy Spirit and flow in the prophetic… connecting people to God, people to people and heaven to earth.   If you have interest in this ministry, please contact us at 269.344.7135, ext. 31

Worship & Band

The power of art, drama and music through the Performing Arts has been used over centuries to convey the great message of Christ; His love for man, the fall of man, our redemption through the sacrifice of His life and the promise of an abundant life here on earth and in the life to come. What a love story!   Through praise and worship and music we try to create a vivid picture of His love, His story to redeem man back to himself and to connect the heart of man to God.  Stones Church’s Worship and Band creates an awesome worship experience each service that sets the atmosphere for the spoken Word. If you have questions, please call 269.344.7135, ext. 31

Rehearsal – Worship & Band:

Kalamazoo Campus: Every Thursday, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

GR/Kentwood Area Campus: Every Tuesday, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Drama is a powerful way to tell a story and communicate the love our Father God has for us.

Stones Church has an amazing team of writers, actors, storytellers, and spoken-word artists who are dedicate to the art of drama. Whether our own Performing Arts Pastor or a collaboration of our drama team and other producers write the story told in the form of drama, the end result is a life-changing experience that impacts lives and creates an experience that lasts a lifetime.

Our Drama team often performs as part of our worship services. Special drama programs are held at various times during the year. Drama ministry is recognized as an integral and visual part of our ministry and not an “activity.”

Auditions and rehearsals are held as needed for a specific ministry performance. This information is always announced in advance.

Stones Church Dance Ministry is comprised of children, youth and adult women who demonstrate the power of worshipping God through the beauty of movement and dance. The adult women’s team ministers each week during Sunday services along with the praise & worship team and the musicians.  The Dance Ministry is a viable part of our worship service at the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids/Kentwood Area Campus. The entire Dance Ministry team also participates in special programs and events throughout the year.

Rehearsals are currently held at the Kalamazoo Campus only.

Men's Community

The Men’s Community at Stones Church is dedicated to empowering men in Christ to advance God’s Kingdom throughout the world.  Men are taught Kingdom principles from God’s Word that equips and empowers them to re-present Christ with honor, integrity and dignity, in their home, church and community. We know that Christ-likeness and real manhood are synonymous. We offer events and meetings throughout the year where men can gather to hear wisdom that speaks to the strengths of a man and the unique challenges of manhood.  These gatherings include monthly Saturday morning meetings, as well as special events and training throughout the year.

Women's Community

The Stones Church Women’s Community is engaged in making a difference in the lives of our Father’s daughters. We are excited about God and what He is doing through us to equip women in this church and our community at large to become all that He intended. Our special “Father Daughter Talks” developed by our Sr. Pastor is a dedicated teaching and time set aside to hear the hearts of women and address their concerns as a father. We are also equipping our Women’s Community through book clubs, small group discussions and special conferences.

Our pastoral staff includes twelve women who are passionate about caring for and connecting with women of all ages, races and backgrounds.

All Women’s Community activities, special events and conferences will be posted on our website. If you have questions, you may contact us at 269.344.7135, ext. 12

Marriage Community

In a world where the value of marriage is declining, Stones Church offers fresh, practical teaching, coaching, and events with God-given principles and skills to help restore and recapture God’s heart for marriage and the family. Through God’s Word, couples grow in the understanding of God’s vision for marriage in their hearts and are equipped with His weapons in their hands.  We have a yearly marriage retreat for couples to spend time away from hectic schedules and reconnect with each other and other couples. Connecting with other couples with the same vision is enjoyable and fosters healthy relationships. Please call us, if you have questions or want to connect with our community.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a ministry to hurting people. It is made up of regular people who are on a journey toward wholeness; seeking recovery from and celebrating God’s healing of life’s hurts, habits and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. At Celebrate Recovery we believe in the power of this Biblical program to change lives. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our hurts, habits and hang-ups.  We provide a good meal and a time of ministry to men and women in small groups.
