Barbara Welch is co-founder and Senior Consultant of Inheritance Development LLC, a firm offering business and personal finance coaching & consulting under the brand "The Good Life Money Coach".
As a consultant, author, and speaker, she is focused on helping professionals and emerging business owners master their finances and build wealth using principles and strategies she has
practiced and developed for over 25 years. She began her career as a banker and a part-time entrepreneur, later becoming a licensed financial advisor and building her consulting practice.
Barbara is a servant leader in her community, as the co-founder of the GGR chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc., founding board member of NIA Centre African American Cultural Center, a member of the GGR chapter of the NAACP, National Black MBA Association, and Co-chair of the Grand Rapids Symphony’s Mosaic Scholar annual fundraiser – Celebration of Soul. Barbara is also a member of the leadership team at Stones Christian Church.

Barbara is happily married to Skot Welch for 29 years and they are the proud parents of two young adult children – Brandon and Brooks.

Pastor / Psalmist 

Yvonne Brooks is a native New Yorker with more than thirty years of
experience in education, school administration and leadership. She currently
serves as the Acting Chief Administrative Officer at Stones Church and a
Director of New Genesis, Inc., a community outreach organization birthed
by Stones Church/CLC, which serves the needs of children, youth and
families throughout our community. Yvonne has a heart for the
advancement of families and provides unique and innovative programming
to facilitate the spiritual, social, emotional and intellectual development of
families throughout Southwest Michigan.
Prayer has been a strong tower in Pastor Yvonne’s life, and she has birthed
the vision of “Prayer on the 6” which is an integral part of Stones Church
becoming a House of Prayer.
A minister of music, Pastor Yvonne is a dynamic worship leader who loves
the presence of God. She is the Performing Arts Pastor at Stones Church
and oversees all aspects of the powerful performing arts ministry and its
productions.
The advancement of women has always been a passion for Yvonne. Yvonne
is the leader of “Beautifully Rooted”, the Stones Church women’s ministry.
She believes that women are made in the image of God and have been given
powerful Godly attributes that enable them to form a place in the world that
nothing and no one else can fill.
Pastor Yvonne is married to the man of her dreams, Senior Pastor Joel A.
Brooks Jr. They are the proud parents of eight children and 6 grandchildren.
