Requirements of Position:
This position involves manual and physical labor that includes lifting, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling. Must be physically fit to perform duties.  Use equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools. Reporting to work shift on time and completing the entire work shift is critical. Will travel to the GR/Kenwood Campus on a weekly basis to perform maintenance duties and delivered needed supplies.

1. Comply with the established "Work Order" process in a timely manner.
2. Follow written and verbal instruction from the Maintenance Department Supervisor and reports any issues.
3. All restrooms are cleaned daily; this includes all floors being mopped, toilets cleaned, and ensuring all restrooms have been restocked with toilet tissue, room deodorizer and paper towels.
4. All carpeted floors are vacuumed daily and must be cleaned regularly
5. Clean and mop floors, clean windows, clean glass doors, all stainless-steel surfaces and empty all trash cans.
6. Cleaning involves classrooms, kitchen areas, bathrooms, and the auditorium.
7. Clean and maintain Baptismal pool and area
8. Keep outside parking lots free from litter by picking up the trash daily. 
9. Inspects equipment used on a regular basis.
10. All light bulbs should be replaced when needed for safety purposes.
11. Make periodic trips to Sam's Club to pick up bottled water.
12. Keep and submit a Weekly Maintenance log to the Supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirement:

• At least one year of Building Maintenance and/or Janitorial Service experience.
• Any work skills and/or knowledge in construction, plumbing, or electrical is a plus.
• A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License and a good driving record.
